Movement Based Medicine

Exercise Physiology is evidence-based physical therapy that can improve health issues.

[su_spacer size=”30″]

Exercise Physiologists use movement and exercise prescription protocols to achieve specific clinical outcomes… insulin resistance, chronic pain, hypertension… there’s a protocol for that!

We prescribe exercise in much the same way a doctor would prescribe medicine, where the type and dose of medication is customised to the patient and their condition.

Exercise physiology improves outcomes in cardiovascular disease, diabetes, low back pain and arthritis

A rehabilitation plan might include strength, aerobic, balance, core or flexibility exercises done in-clinic or at home. In-clinic rehab may be individual or small group, depending on patient risks and needs.

Home programs include an individually programmed instructional video sequence that can be accessed via our free mobile app that tracks adherence and delivers relevant educational content.
